Workbased Learning Coach – Early Years Educator/Teaching Assistant Contract Type: Temporary Hours per Week: 36.5 Hourly Rate: £28.67 per hour inc holiday pay Job Purpose: We are seeking a dedicated Workbased Learning Coach to deliver, train, assess, internally verify, and support apprenticeship/AEB programmes on behalf of a Further Education College based in Birmingham. This role primarily focuses on Level 3 Early Years Educator and Level 3 Teaching Assistants. You will manage a caseload of students throughout their period of study at the college as well as at their workplace. Key Responsibilities: Deliver training and assess knowledge and performance on College and/or employer premises. Develop and deliver flexible programmes to meet identified needs. Monitor, review, and evaluate provision in line with the College’s Quality Assurance procedures. Fulfil the role of a workbased learning coach, assessor, and internal verifier. Maintain detailed records of students’ progress and achievement on Smart Assessor (e-portfolio). Assess and monitor student progress and portfolio development. Support and prepare learners for their End Point Assessment (EPA). Person Specification: Hold a minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification. Hold a recognised assessing qualification. Demonstrate recent experience of professional practice and supporting apprenticeship programmes. Have a minimum of two years industrial/trade experience in a position at or above the level of the vocational programme being delivered. Hold a driving license.
