Carbon60 is working with a well-renowned worldwide MRO company to find a Check Management Support Engineer in both Manchester and Birmingham.
In the role of Check Management Support Engineer, you will be working alongside the Check Manager, Commercial and Materials Coordinator to oversee the effective project and delivery of aircraft back to the customer within the agreed timescale.
Duties and Responsibilities of Check Management Support Engineer:
1. Work alongside the customer to ensure all over and above tasks are signed off onsite by a representative before work commences and before any potential over-runs.
2. Create and maintain task card over-runs for commercial and base management review.
3. Advise on non-productive bookings.
4. Monitor budget on task card.
5. Produce daily customer status reports keeping to schedule.
6. Conduct daily progress meetings with the Check Manager and customer.
Skills of Check Management Support Engineer:
1. Apprenticeship or equivalent in aviation or similar mechanical engineering field.
2. Ability to work in an ever-changing environment and adaptability to meet the changing needs.
3. Strong organisational and people skills.
4. Awareness of commercial needs.
5. Must have a full UK Driving Licence.
6. Proficient using MS Office, in particular Excel.
