Games Workshop is looking for a Group Tax Manager to join our high-performing tax team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute towards driving the company's tax strategy ensuring compliance and managing risk across all tax-related matters. Your ability to navigate complex situations with integrity and compassion will ensure that we maintain the highest standards in all aspects of direct and indirect tax advising on complex global tax issues whilst maintaining compliance. As we are a vertically integrated organisation you will be working across multiple areas of the business, so your commercial acumen and ability to understand key business drivers across multiple tax jurisdictions will be key as you advise on Corporate tax, global transfer pricing, overseas subsidiaries, corporate structures, and transactions. With a pragmatic approach and a keen eye for detail, you will provide strategic tax support for global projects ensuring alignment with the unique requirements of the business that supports business growth to ensure Games Workshop has effective mechanisms in place to optimise tax outcomes and mitigate risks. You will build strong relationships through effective communication and people skills, providing key strategic information across the business working collaboratively across global territories including the EU, North America, Australasia, and Asia. Being an expert in your field you will guide our business on domestic and international tax laws you will also support the Direct and Indirect Tax Teams by assisting with their reporting requirements. With a focus on continuous improvement, you will shape and govern the corporate governance of our Tax policy developing and maintaining support for HMRC's Business Risk Reviews and Senior Accounting Officer sign offs as well as addressing any systematic issues impacting the development of Tax Law. Being technically strong, the ideal candidate will have a background from a Practice firm, most likely with International Corporate Tax experience from which wider skills will be developed.
