Job summary This unique role sits within the sepsis team. The role will primarily focus on the collection of accurate audit data, with daily data collection taking place over the 37.5hr working week. The successful candidate will assist the Senior Sepsis Practitioner and Lead Resuscitation Officer with the creation of monthly audit reports from the collected data. The role also provides education to the wider multidisciplinary team which will focus on the recognition and management of sepsis: the deteriorating patient and mandatory resuscitation training. Resuscitation training support will take up approximately 7.5hrs per week. The post holder will be fully supported and assisted in their development by the Senior SepsisPractitioner and the Lead Resuscitation Officer to be able to deliver the education component of the role. They will have full access to the educational resources offered by Pinewood House and those of the resuscitation training department. Governance will be achieved through the SNHSFT resuscitation committee, sepsis steering group and deteriorating patient committee.
