What you’ll do
We're recruiting for a Commercial Finance Manager to join our Technology Finance team at Vodafone UK.
Within this role, you will manage the annual Capex plan including ownership of the forecasting processes, owning the overall project level plan, consolidated reporting as well as being the interface with central FP&A team and Group for all Capex requirements and reporting submissions.
Wider responsibilities will also include:
1. Business partnership: Manage relationships with VFUK finance team, functional delivery teams, central FP&A team, and group, understanding wider business objectives, monitoring benefit realisation and managing all submissions and deliverables relating to Capex, ensuring all required inputs are accurate and on time.
2. Financial Analysis: Accurate management of plan by functional owner and HFM categorisation, clarity on phasing of spend and capture KPI’s to understand operational drivers to support variance analysis.
3. Financial Planning: Own all Capex forecasting processes, MMP, forecasts, budgets, CAM and LRP aligning with all stakeholders to confirm targets, manage prioritisation process, validate operational plans and track delivery through monthly reporting.
4. Governance & Control: Work closely with Fin Ops and Pune to ensure correct funding allocations, track business case progress and pipeline and manage relevant Technology approval processes.
5. Reporting: Ownership of all month end capex reporting at TLT, CAM and HFM level ensuring reports are accurate and timely with clear understanding of operational drivers.
Who you are
6. Aptitude for building relationships and influencing all levels of seniority across functions.
7. Demonstrable Commercial Finance experience.
8. Fully qualified preferred (CIMA, ACA, ACMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
9. Highly proficient in the use of MS Office, particularly MS Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
10. Professional presentation & communication skills, with and ability to interpret and explain complex information.
11. Resilient and delivery-focused, with competence in prioritising multiple stakeholder-demands.
