Job summary Newham Hospital is situated in the heart of East London and we have easy access to very good public transport links. We provide Maternity Services to approximately 6700 women a year and accommodate our women in very modern up to date facilitates. We also have co-located midwifery-led unit and a stand-alone midwife-led unit at Barking. Main duties of the job The post is open to candidates with suitable experience and a commitment to supporting staff and improving care. The role will be challenging at times, and we require an individual who has excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. They must be able to demonstrate an understanding of change management, team dynamics, and appreciate the demands of delivering an efficient and effective maternity service which meets the requirements of women, within in the current NHS climate.
