Business Sales Executive
Our Watford based client is looking for a Sales Executive to join their thriving business. You will already have some sales experience and enjoy working to and exceeding targets. Sound familiar? Then read on.
Due to rapid growth, our client is seeking a new sales executive to manage a range of new and existing customers, striving to maintain good relationships with existing clients and gaining repeat business wherever possible.
Day to day responsibilities include:
* Cold call to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
* Research the market and related products
* Build good working relationships
* Understand the needs of your business customers
* Present the product or service favourably and in a structured professional way
* Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
* Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
* Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
* Gather market and customer information
* Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions
* Create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer
* Negotiate on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers
* Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations
* Feed future buying trends back to employers
* Review your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets, attend team meetings, and share best practices with colleagues
You will have the ability and desire to sell and build rapport with customers, possess excellent communication skills, have a positive, confident and determined approach, be resilient and be self-motivated.
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday office role (no hybrid) and offers a basic salary of £25 - £26k together with a first year realistic OTE of £38,000.
