We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one-to-one support, and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
Our service user is a young girl who lives with her loving family in Nelson. She requires support with her complex care needs throughout the night.
Throughout the night, you will provide support with her personal care, repositioning, attending to her clinical care needs when required, and provide a peaceful environment to promote a restful night's sleep.
Main duties of the job
It is important to understand her methods of communication and identify her wants and needs; she is non-verbal and communicates using facial expressions and body language. Patience and understanding are key qualities for this role.
This is a personally rewarding role where you can build on your clinical skills and experience, whilst delivering exceptional care and support to our service user and really making an impact on her day-to-day life.
We have the following shifts available:
* Full Time and Part Time Waking Nights
* 10pm - 8am
* 2-3 Shifts Per Week
* Must be able to work alternate weekends
Take a look at our pay rates:
Weeknights: £13.00 per hour (Approx. £130 per 10-hour shift)
Saturdays: £13.50 per hour (Approx. £135 per 10-hour shift)
Sundays: £13.50 per hour (Approx. £135 per 10-hour shift)
Bank Holidays: £15.00 per hour (Approx. £150 per 10-hour shift)

Job responsibilities
The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service user's individual care and support plan.
The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.
Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service user's right to privacy and dignity is maintained.
