As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for producing components in accordance with engineering specifications. Using manual and semi-automatic lathes and milling machines, you will ensure efficient, accurate, and safe machining to meet production requirements.
Manual Machinists Duties:
Precision Machining– Operate manual and semi-automatic lathes and milling machines (Prototrak/XYZ) to manufacture components to exact specifications.
Engineering Drawings– Interpret technical and engineering drawings to produce high-quality parts.
Measuring & Inspection– Utilize measuring instruments and gauges to ensure components meet strict tolerances and quality standards.
Continuous Improvement– Contribute ideas to enhance production efficiency, quality, and workplace safety.
Health & Safety Compliance– Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards to maintain a safe working environment.
Quality Control– Conduct intermediate inspections to verify accuracy and make adjustments as needed.
Professionalism– Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
Ad-Hoc Duties– Undertake any other relevant tasks as required by the company.Requirements:
