Description We are currently recruiting for a Food & Beverage Service Expert to join the team at the Courtyard Aberdeen Airport. Travel links from Aberdeen town via the 727 bus which will bring you within 2 minutes’ walk of the Hotel Role Requirements: Communicating with guests and team members in a professional and warm manner In-depth menu knowledge, capable of answering questions about ingredients and allergens and any other queries. Time management when serving multiple guests at once including making sure that checkbacks are being completed in a timely manner as well as topping up drinks. Ability to communicate clearly with the kitchen and management team to ensure guests needs are met and exceeded. Presenting correct bill and taking payment using appropriate system. Completing opening and closing duties, including restocking items, setting up tables to uniform standards and ensure the next team is ready for their shift. F&B Service Experts will be on their feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended time; moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces), managing the menu (read and visually verify information), and taking a hands-on approach to work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and 50 pounds with assistance; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping). Doing all these things well (and other reasonable job duties as requested) is critical for Guest Service Experts – to get it right for our guests and our business each and every time.
