Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support the overall operations of our projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Duties
1. Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
2. Perform general site maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
3. Operate basic hand tools and power tools as required for various tasks.
4. Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned duties efficiently.
5. Help with the assembly and disassembly of structures as needed.
6. Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring all materials are stored properly.
7. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to minimise risks on site.
Requirements
1. Rolo Certificate
2. Medical Safety Certificate
3. Previous experience in a labouring role is preferred but not essential.
4. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
5. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
6. A valid driver's licence is an advantage but not mandatory.
7. Willingness to work flexible hours, including early starts or late finishes when required.
8. A good understanding of health and safety practices in a construction or industrial setting is desirable.
