Developing and implementing health and safety plans and procedures in the workplace Inspecting workplaces and workplace equipment for safety and health hazards Ensuring that the organization is in compliance with all current health and safety regulations Conducting training sessions and presentations on health and safety topics Investigating workplace accidents and incidents to identify their causes and find ways to prevent them in the future Preparing and presenting reports on health and safety activities Advising on provisions to minimize safety risks Developing health and safety strategies and internal policy Keeping records of inspection findings and producing reports suggesting improvements Outlining safe operational procedures that identify all relevant hazards and accurately assessing risks The role is both office and site based. Office based works will involve developing site-specific RAMS for projects and keeping records of H&S related documentation.
