To meet our ambitious strategic aims, ULaw has embarked on a major transformation programme and is looking to recruit a Lead Business Analyst to join us on our journey. The role will be working remotely (from a UK location) on a fixed term contract until December 2025.
You will play a pivotal role in creating proposals for changed ways of working, policies and practices across the university, in support of the CORDS (Curriculum, Operations, Responsive Systems, Data, Students) target operating model programme.
To be successful in the role you will have significant experience in business transformation projects and change, supporting complex transformation projects end-to-end with a focus around stakeholder management, organisation design and TOM (target operating model).
As our Lead Business Analyst you will be responsible for:
* Support the identification, documentation of transformation opportunities from the current operating model to the target operating model
* Running workshops with key senior stakeholders comparing ULaw to stand industry practice to identify opportunities for simplification and efficiency
* Working with the Business Architect and Enterprise Architect to develop costs proposals for change and presenting the benefits and risks to programme and Executive boards
* Undertake change impact analysis using standard techniques such as People, Processes, Technology and Information and PESTLE analysis.
We are looking for people who are/have:
* Extensive experience of working on transformational change projects
* Knowledge of the education sector would be distinctly desirable
* Experience of business case or policy development
* Highly skilled at working collaboratively to capture the 'as is' and developing the 'to be'
* Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels
