Calibration Engineer required to join our specialist client within the Engineering and Manufacturing industry based near Leeds.
Within this Calibration Engineer role, you will be responsible for ensuring all New Vehicles Metering systems and associated equipment are calibrated and inspected to meet required standards/specifications.
Calibration Engineer Job Overview
1. Calibrate and inspect all metering equipment to ensure it meets specification and performance requirements.
2. Create and maintain procedures to ensure equipment meets technical standards.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment calibration and performance.
4. Maintain accurate records of calibration activities for customer audit purposes.
5. Provide training to other technicians on setup and calibration techniques and procedures.
6. Ensure all calibration activities adhere to quality standards and regulations.
7. Manage logistic KPIs on new vehicle reliability and non-repeatable visits with stated guidelines.
Calibration Engineer Job Requirements
1. Engineering calibration principles/background.
2. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills relating to equipment and instrumentation.
3. Precision in making adjustments and ensuring equipment meets specified measurements.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Proficiency in MS Office and Smartsheet.
Calibration Engineer Salary & Benefits
1. £35 - 38k salary DOE.
2. Full-time position - Monday to Friday.
3. 25 days holiday package plus bank holidays.
