Description
Permanent contract, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. The main purpose of the post is to deliver student recruitment growth while building the College's reputation as a provider of high-quality education. The post holder will be a member of Senior Leadership Team (SLT), promote corporate objectives and will take responsibility for developing and leading the implementation of a new marketing, recruitment and external relations strategy for the College.
The person chosen to strategically lead marketing and student recruitment at this crucial time in the College's development will possess outstanding leadership skills, be an excellent communicator and relationship builder and have strong analytical skills, together with an ability to inspire confidence from a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
1. Developing and leading the marketing, student recruitment and external relations strategy for the College, with an accompanying action plan.
2. Developing a suite of metrics and KPIs in support of the Marketing Strategy and as a key component of the annual business plan (Strategic Chapter): be accountable for performance against these KPIs.
3. Acting as a key adviser to the SLT, providing market research and data analysis to assist in strategic decision making, including curriculum planning and business development.
4. Leading and developing a high-performing marketing team to act proactively in promoting the College and its services, managing out-sourced marketing activities as appropriate.
5. Strategically leading the end-to-end student recruitment process supported by the Student Services Manager.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
1. A degree or equivalent qualification L6 or above.
2. Significant experience held in a senior strategic marketing role in a comparable sector.
3. A demonstrable track record of success in planning and implementing marketing plans and campaigns.
4. Extensive successful experience of taking a strategic perspective, developing effective strategies and implementing them through rigorous operational plans.
5. Successful experience of operational delivery across varied areas of responsibility through effective planning and monitoring of performance against action plans and targets.
6. A strong track record of successful leadership within a large complex organisation and partnership with external organisations.
