About the Role: As an SEN Teacher, you will be working across Key Stage 1-2 and supporting students with MLD, following an adapted EYFS curriculum. You will work closely with other teaching staff, therapists, and support workers to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver individualized learning plans for students with MLD across Key Stage 1-2.
* Provide one-on-one and group support to students, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
* Adapt teaching methods to meet the specific needs of students with MLD and support their emotional and educational development.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals, to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
* Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and progress.
* Monitor and assess progress, maintaining accurate records and contributing to the school's reporting and planning processes.
* Encourage students to build independence and self-confidence in their learning and social interactions.
