Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Responsible for supporting the Macmillan Pathway project Lead to deliver the objectives of the pathway, working with a range of internal and external stakeholders both across Lancashire and South Cumbria.
Maintain all related project documents for the project in line with LSCFT and Macmillan requirements and organisational standards. To help develop digital solutions which work across LTHTR, UHMB and third sector.
Responsible for coordinating the gathering, analysing, and reporting of information and the evidence base for cancer performance activity, pathways, services and patient experiences in Lancashire and South Cumbria and in commissioned providers and across the local authority to inform the development of the models of care.
Develop communications and support engagement plans for the Psychosocial Pathway Project and manage their effective implementation.
Travel is a requirement of this post.

Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria
* Experience of supporting projects ideally within the NHS or a Public Sector organisation
* Experienced user of IT packages including Microsoft Office Suite, e.g., Word, Excel, ECDL
* Knowledge of change management techniques
* Evidence of compiling and providing high quality, professional written reports
* Evidence of working with stakeholders across several agencies
* Experience of working successfully as part of a team
* Experience of developing policies, protocols, and procedures
Desirable criteria
* Programme management or multi-project management experience
* Experience of leading a service improvement project
* Knowledge and experience of risk management techniques and systems
* An understanding of issues facing the NHS
* Working with people affected by cancer
* Experience of digital development
Qualifications and Experience
Essential criteria
* Degree level business / management qualification or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
* Accredited Project Management qualification e.g. PRINCE 2 or equivalent project management experience
Desirable criteria
* MSc Qualification
