Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Role Summary:
Maintenance Engineers at {company} play a vital role in enhancing equipment performance, reducing plant downtime and maintaining a safe work environment.
Salary Range: £35,000 - £41,000 per annum
Location: Hillingdon
Working Hours: Day Shift OR 24/7 Day Shift, 7:00am – 3:30pm
Contract Type: Fulltime, Permanent
Main Responsibilities:
* Swiftly address plant faults and defects to maintain optimal operational status at all times.
* Complete reactive tasks site-wide, while proactively identifying root causes and suggesting improvement areas.
* Ensure adherence to Engineering control procedures, such as LOTOTO and Permit Systems.
* Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PPM) on all mechanical and electrical plant equipment per site task schedules and asset lists.
* Report any critical operational issues of equipment to Engineering management immediately.
* Accurately complete all required documentation and computerised records.
* Follow all current organisational work instructions.
* Fully adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations while executing duties.
* Take on any additional tasks that align with your capabilities.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Experience: Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with assembly and moulding equipment.
* Qualifications: Completion of an advanced engineering apprenticeship or relevant qualification.
* Experience Level: A minimum of 4 years of engineering experience in a similar role.
* PLC Knowledge: Familiarity with PLC systems is preferred.
* Standards & Certifications: Ideally certified to IEE 17th or 18th Edition standards.
* Air and Pneumatics Training: Desirable background in air systems and pneumatics.
* Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work independently or collaboratively as needed.
* HSE Standards: Solid understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental processes and compliance.
