A nationwide multidisciplinary Cost Management Consultancy is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Quantity Surveyor for their Leeds Office.
The Quantity Surveyor Role
The selected Quantity Surveyor will join a supportive national team, gaining valuable training, guidance, and genuine opportunities for career development. You'll work across diverse sectors, including healthcare, education, commercial, residential, defence, and heritage.
This consultancy offers a flexible hybrid working policy, requiring only two days per week in the office, and has cultivated a workplace that prioritizes employee well-being.
Known for their internal career development and flat organizational structure, there are no barriers to growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to take on more responsibilities, progress to Associate level, and make a meaningful impact within the company.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Liaising directly with clients
2. Managing junior members of the team
3. Running Design Team Meetings, reporting on cost control matters
4. Cost estimates, bills of quantities, contract documents and commercial reporting
5. Managing large & complex projects with responsibility for project cost control
The Quantity Surveyor
1. Previous Quantity Surveying experience in a UK Consultancy
2. Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC3 building contracts
3. Committed to delivering high-quality client service
4. Multi-sector experience in consultancy or construction
5. MRICS is highly desirable or currently working towards
6. Professional, compassionate attitude
7. Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills
