Kier Group are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME) which is our internal MEP Self Delivery business.
As part of the Construction Group, Kier Mechanical & Electrical support our internal build teams across the UK and have full design, construct and commissioning capability across a wide variety of project sectors.
Location: London.

What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will take ownership for managing your project and reporting in to the Commercial Director.
What will your days look like?
* Ensuring compliance with the project's procurement strategy, including subcontract inquiries and tender reviews.
* Manage valuations, project cashflows, and turnover forecasts, including monthly cost reports and progress records.
* Provide legal and contractual advice on orders and changes, handling notices and subcontractor administration.
* Drive commercial initiatives, producing margin improvement plans and supporting team members in maximizing opportunities.
* Lead and manage junior staff, ensuring workload targets, deadlines, and commercial tasks are met and updated monthly.
What are we looking for?
In a Senior Quantity Surveyor, we're ideally looking for:
* Prior experience working in a Commercial role in Construction for a contractor or consultancy, ideally with MEP exposure.
* Experience with a variety of contract forms, such as JCT and NEC.
* The ability to work collaboratively and part of a team.
