It is an exciting time to join us on our journey as we grow and expand Our mission: To deliver technology like no other About the role We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Projects team based from our Head Office in Gateshead. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading project teams to provide comprehensive project management and delivery to Aspires customers while also developing our internal PMO processes and people. You will take full ownership of the planning, resourcing, controlling, and implementation of each project, ensuring that all project objectives are met and that projects are delivered within agreed timescales, quality, and budgets. You will manage multiple IT projects simultaneously, spanning diverse technologies while playing a key role in managing and enhancing processes, people, and technologies that propel our business forward. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of the next generation of project managers within the team. What you will be doing Collaborate with senior management and engineers to define the scope of the project. Mentor and provide oversight to PMO teams, fostering career growth. Identify roadblocks and propose solutions to ensure project success concerning budget, time, and quality. Promote positive engagement with PMO and colleagues, and represent the core values of Aspire with both internal and external customers. Drive personal and PMO process development to enhance internal teams and client outcomes. Build relationships across project teams. Create detailed work project plans that identify and sequence the activities needed to successfully complete the project. This includes validating the resources required to complete the project and ensuring the optimal revenue recognition path. Monitor project progress, adjust as needed, and ensure deliverables meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Control and monitor the progress of the project, adjusting as necessary to ensure the successful and timely completion of the project to meet revenue and timeframe expectations targets. Ensure the project is equipped with the appropriate personnel, including 3rd parties. You will suit the role if you have Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent organisation skills and a constructive approach to problem-solving skills. The ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a range of stakeholders. The ability to demonstrate assertiveness in one one-on-one & group situations when opinions/ actions are needed. The ability to seek opportunities to learn new ways of doing things through new experiences and interactions with other and suggest ways to improve efficiency. The ability to take calculated risks to generate out-of-the-box solutions to complex problems. Previous experience in a similar role. A full UK driving license. Hours of Work Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
