Here at GXO we currently experience new structure for our Drinks BU within HR department. Its a great time to join company to be part of creating our new HR function implementing processes and setting new standards! This is a brand-new role so lots of opportunity to make it your own and great development role!
We are on the lookout for a Senior HR Advisor to join us at our Livingston site supporting our Drinks Business Unit. Youll be the on-site HR presence to provide efficient and effective support to the site team. This is a standalone role who will be the site lead in all people processes and support the delivery of the people plan in a unionised environment.
You will be working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00, based on site. We do have some flexibility on start and end times!

What youll do on a typical day:
* Build harmonious relationships with any Trade Union to ensure optimum working efficiency
* Provide full HR generalist support and advice to Managers and employees - ensuring a current knowledge of employee legislation and employee relation issues is maintained to ensure the business area remains compliant and risk is mitigated
* Take the lead on complex ER issues
* Prepare and process letters, meeting minutes and other documents as and when required
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Experience of working in a fast-paced HR environment dealing with ER and recruitment activity at HR Advisor level
* Practiced in dealing with trade unions and associated collective agreements
* Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
* Strong in systems; HRIS, Microsoft Office such as word and Excel
* A self-motivated and flexible approach with the confidence to work both in a team and with minimal supervision
