A new opportunity has arisen for an Analog IC Design Engineer to join a fabrication facility where you will be working on the design and development of state-of-the-art products and platforms. Working on a wide range of tasks including Analog Circuit design and layout of advanced self-protected Power MOSFETs; applications analysis; new product definition; feasibility analysis; device design; simulation; evaluation and development report generation.
This role involves a mix of discrete design plus Analog IC Design and layout and requires knowledge on device functions. You will be working on the establishment and re-use of design rules and functional blocks and developing the value of the Intellectual Property portfolio by documentation, re-use and protection, as appropriate.
Experience is required in:
* Analog IC Design, simulation and layout tools
* TCAD tools to translate product requirements into a physical design that will meet performance, price and timescale goals
* Able to measure performance, analyse results and report in a clear concise manner
* Able to work effectively within a multi-functional team environment
* Determine product specification requirements by discussion with customers, sales or marketing
* Semiconductor production processes and parametric dependencies at the component and circuit levels
* Cadence circuit design, simulation and layout tools
Industry degree qualified, the Analog IC Design Engineer will have experience in Analog/Mixed Signal IC design, simulation and layout tools, TCAD tools as well as experience of electronic and power electronic circuit design, power device with experience in the use of standard laboratory equipment for semiconductor measurement, characterisation and analysis.
