Salary: £45,000 - £53,000 depending on experience + up to 10% bonus per annum

What you’ll be doing:
* Ensure the background on all aspects of large/complex cases is sufficiently researched (policy cover, third party involvement, securities, recoveries, etc) and provide direction for the investigation phase.
* Determine validity on large/complex cases and make recommendations on validity where own authority is exceeded.
* Set the objectives and measures upon which the project/claim will be evaluated at its completion – typically timeliness, financial and customer satisfaction.
* Ensure understanding and adherence to TCF requirements - ownership and adherence to internal and external policies, procedures and governances.
* Identify, own and manage the risks involved in running our business appropriate to the role in line with NHBC policies and procedures.
* Management and oversight of claims until delivered to conclusion.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Extensive knowledge and experience of insurance claims management.
* Management of high value and/or technically complex claims.
* Expert communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to lead through positively influencing others to achieve results.
* Comprehensive knowledge of FCA & PRA rules, particularly related to Consumer Duty and TCF.
* Broad knowledge of general insurance principles and the insurance industry.
Education and Qualifications:
Desirable - CII, CILA, CIOB, CEng, RICS qualifications.
