An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a full-time NEBOSH certified Health and Safety professional to join a Cheshire-based consultancy, to assist with the management of projects, on-site teams and support continued company growth.
The role offers excellent career progression opportunities and enhanced benefits package including a competitive starting salary up to £38,000 per year. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual, with a good knowledge of CDM/Principal Design, to get a stronger foothold within the industry and progress with their career.
Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing health, safety, welfare and statutory compliance.
2. Project management.
3. Risk assessments.
4. Site visits to client properties.
5. Overseeing staff safety on-site.
6. Liaising with Property Managers, Contractors, Clients and Local Authorities to ensure the smooth running of projects from concept through to build.
Skills and Attributes:
1. NEBOSH qualified & understanding of CDM 2015 regulations.
2. Fire Risk Assessment trained.
3. P402 Asbestos training is desirable but not essential.
4. Effective communicator at various levels with a good eye for detail & the ability to problem-solve.
5. Previous experience in construction safety would be a distinct advantage.
6. Full UK driving license and use of own vehicle.
You will be working 8.00am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, from the Crewe office and from various client sites around the UK. Travel to client sites will be required and nights away may occasionally be needed.
