Assist with the provision of professional planning activities delivered within the Operations Section of Governance Services whilst undertaking the Assessment of Professional Competence in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

The Individual
This is a permanent full time post based within the Opera House, 8 John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock. The hours of work are 35 hours per week to be worked Monday -Thursday 9.00am - 5.00pm and Friday 9.00am - 4.00pm. The full time salary of the post is between £33,124 - £35,927 per annum. The work style for this post is ‘Mobile’ - 20-49% of your time in an office or other work location, the admin base for this post is the Opera House. You will work at your administrative base or another agreed office location between 1 to 2.5 days per week and the remainder of the week at home or other work locations as required. It is the expectation that all office-based employees (with the exception of those working in schools) will work to the higher end of their allocated workstyle in terms of time spent in the office or at other work locations.
