Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
* Ensure all food handling and preparation meets safety and sanitation standards.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan menus, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
* Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety practices.
* Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items to enhance the dining experience.
* Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.20-$17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Evening shift
* Monday to Friday
* Morning shift
* Weekends as needed
Education:
* Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
* Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
Language:
* English (required)
Licence/Certification:
* Food Handler Certification (required)
* Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
