We are looking for a dedicated Aspiring Mental Health Nurse to support children between the ages of 6-16 in a school setting within Hastings. All students have social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, along with associated challenging behaviors. The school focuses on addressing the educational, social, and therapeutic needs of students, emphasizing individual happiness and well-being where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities of an Aspiring Mental Health Nurse:
1. Assist the class teacher in providing the learning experience of students.
2. Ability to perform conflict resolution and de-escalation.
3. Provide behavior and pastoral support.
4. Take an active role in forward planning with therapists.
5. Adopt a practical approach to meet the individual needs of students.
6. Willing to work 1:1 and in small groups with students.
7. Ensure safeguarding of students in line with procedures.

3. Always be adaptable in any given situation.
