GCU London is recruiting a Student Wellbeing Adviser to provide wellbeing support to its growing international student cohort at the Spitalfields campus.
The post holder will offer practical and emotional support to students facing various challenges, ensuring their health and wellbeing are maintained. The role also involves advising and supporting other GCU London team members in managing student welfare issues.
This involves meeting students individually, providing guidance, and making referrals when necessary. The role collaborates with staff across the university, including pastoral/welfare teams, the students’ association, security, and colleagues at the Glasgow campus.
Applicants should be educated to degree level or hold relevant qualifications/experience. Experience in welfare or advisory roles, preferably in higher or further education, and the ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team are essential.
