Do you love working in a team? This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a first class multidisciplinary team providing interventional diagnostics and therapy at the North West Cardiac Catheter Sector Laboratory.
The Cardiac Catheter Lab is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 7:00pm. CCL is closed on weekends and bank holidays but there is an on-call service which you would be expected to participate in once fully trained. Shift patterns include early shifts from 8am to 4pm, Mid shift 9am-5pm and late shifts from 11am to 7pm.
As a new staff nurse joining our friendly team you will be provided with the highest standards of training to provide care to both acute and elective patients, making this a unique and varied role.
Once trained, you will be involved in the provision of an extensive range of interventional cardiac procedures including diagnostic angiograms, coronary intervention, device implantation, cardioversion and cardiology diagnostics.

Main duties of the job
The Cardiac Catheter Lab (CCL) is a state of the art cardiac facility with two theatres and a 6 bedded recovery area. The lab cares for patients undergoing cardiac interventions in this day case setting. Following the procedure and recovery period the patients are discharged via the Cardiac Catheter Lab's own bespoke discharge suite.
