About the Opportunity
Nuclear Power Programmes is one of the newest Business Units within Jacobs and has been formed with the vision to support positive change and help shape the future of Nuclear Power.

Jacobs are recruiting for a Senior Records Lead and a Records Lead within the Project Delivery Organisation (PDO) Quality Directorate which is responsible for ensuring nuclear industry and major project best practice are defined and deployed within documented information and records across projects and contracts within the Sizewell C Delivery organisation. You will ensure that the documented information and records management arrangements and requirements are clearly communicated for effective deployment by the projects and their supply chains.
The Senior Records Lead will support the Documents and Records Manager and PDO Quality Director in discharging their Licence Conditions compliance owner and manager duties.
As the Programme focal point for implementation of SZC’s record strategy, you will comfortable as the visible champion for record management and who will positively lead and manage a team of Records Leads to support the records delivery within Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDT), including implementation of lessons learned from the Hinkley Point C (HPC) project. Key responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage a team of Records Leads
2. Interface with Regulators (Office for Nuclear Regulation and Environment Agency) and related stakeholders on records arrangements
3. Develop and implement arrangements to ensure compliance with organisational requirements to support Nuclear Site Licence and Permit compliance processes
4. Accountable to the Documents and Records Manager for all quality delivery activities within the team
5. Recruiting, appointing and line management of the Records Leads, including to include their professional and skills development
6. Developing and implementing Key Performance Indicators and the measurement, monitoring and reporting of quality records performance of the projects and supply chain to the business
7. Ensuring that supply chain organisations contracted to the SZC acknowledge, accept, respond to, and fully comply with SZC contract quality record requirements, the post holder will be and responsible for supporting the suppliers in achieving this
8. Identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting their implementation and or making recommendations accordingly
Here's What You'll Need:
9. Experience of managing a team from different backgrounds
10. Knowledge & experience gained from a specific discipline, preferably qualified to HNC level as a minimum
11. Weld inspection – CSWIP 3.1, PCN level 2
12. NDT techniques ie MPI, DPI, Rad Interp – CSWIP level 2, PCN level 2
13. Coatings – NACE level 2
14. Electrical – JIB, Compex
15. Civils – Heavy civils experience
16. Experience of interfacing with project teams and with supply chain organisations
17. Implementation and management of records / document and data/information management methodologies and tools within a major project environment
18. Understanding and application of the Quality process applicable to Records Management
