A great opportunity has arisen for a Process Engineer/Senior Process Engineer to join an established, privately owned semiconductor manufacturer, based in Fife, with a reputation for quality products and superior customer service.
They are looking for experience & expertise in the following areas for their CMOS and MEMS facilities: Etch – Dry/Plasma Etch, ideally LAM etchers, DRIE Etch, Plasma resist strip.
These are diverse roles that will require the right candidates to have a strong technical aptitude developed in the semiconductor market sector.
You will be responsible for:
Working with cross functional teams to ensure best process engineering practices are maintained (reporting, documentation systems, etc.)
Providing production support
Implementing new products and processes to meet project objectives.
Improving Yields, 8D investigations, FMEA, SPC, Cp/Cpk improvements, 5S, Cost reductions and Lean manufacturing.
Modifying existing processes and procedures to provide practical solutions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Investigating and resolving process issues.
Experience and Skills
Industry experience as a Process Engineer / Senior Process Engineer working in a similar role is essential.
You will be a highly qualified individual educated to degree level, or equivalent. With a number of years experience, you may be in a shift process role now and looking for the next move in your career, but more likely you would have already had a couple of years experience in your current role and are now looking for a new challenge. You will certainly need to be an accomplished and effective communicator, a decisive data-driven person with the ability to effect change and the tenacity and passion for continuous improvement.
Hours
Office hours - Monday to Thursday 7.30 a.m. - 4.00 p.m. and Friday 7.30 a.m. - 1.00 p.m
