The purpose of this role is to assure the quality of products throughout the product lifecycle. As a Supplier Technician, you will ensure that the customer voice is heard and understood by all suppliers and internal customers.
Key Responsibilities will include:
1. Support the Supplier Assessment process through conducting audits and assessments as directed.
2. Ensure that Suppliers apply Safran requirements such as APQP.
3. Ensure that Products and Services comply with quality requirements.
4. Help suppliers understand the requirements.
5. Ensure proper management of non-compliance.
6. Ensure that supplier system, product and process anomalies are addressed, with the necessary assurances that corrective actions are effective.
7. Support customer inspection activities.
8. Assist as a team member in problem-solving activities for manufacturing product quality issues (Using 8D Techniques).
9. Drive continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements:
* Apprenticeship level or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
* Sound engineering/quality background, with experience of Quality inspection within a manufacturing/engineering industry.
* Ideally Internal Auditor AS9100 trained.
* Knowledge of management of HSE risks.
* Ability to analyse quality performance and build standards of quality.
