Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Process Instrumentation Field Service Expert to join our team in the UK. This role requires servicing, calibrating and fault diagnostics/repair of electronic and mechanical process control instrumentation.
Responsibilities
* To commission, calibrate and repair onsite instrumentation with high accuracy and efficiency.
* To work effectively in various industries across the region, including Sheffield and surrounding areas.
* Liaise with Service Coordinators to ensure necessary resources for job completion.
* Communicate with customers prior to execution to clarify job requirements and estimated time of arrival.
* Adhere to site safety rules, permit-to-work systems, and conduct thorough risk assessments.
* Comply with local and industry procedures, as well as industry codes of practice and quality management system.
* Travel throughout the UK, overseas, and potentially offshore for job assignments.
* Provide support to other departments and customers as directed by the Services Manager.
* Maintain accurate and timely job reporting according to company service report forms.
Qualifications & Profile
* Ideal qualifications include ONC/HNC level in Electronics or Instrumentation and Control, or equivalent experience.
* Recognised apprenticeship in the aforementioned disciplines is highly valued or at least 2 years' experience in Process Control.
* Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
* Experience in Process Instrumentation or similar field is preferred.
* Highly motivated individual capable of working independently or as part of a team.
* Flexible approach to working activities.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Able to develop strong working relationships with customers.
* Excellent punctuality and timekeeping.
* Valid clean driving licence.
Salary & Benefits
The estimated salary range for this position is £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include:
