What would a typical day look like for you?
As IT & Cyber Security Risk Manager, you will support the Head of Operational and Technology Risk through the independent monitoring and oversight of 1st line of defence IT and Cyber Security risk controls, with monitoring and review of relevant internal and external data, and through the provision of advice, guidance and solutions to staff at all levels, to ensure the effective management of IT and Cyber Security risk across the Bank.
Your skills:
Essential
* Proven IT operational experience, preferably with significant hands-on IT or Cyber Security experience within a complex organisational environment.
* Strong familiarity with IT infrastructure components including hardware, software, networking, Cloud services, AI and implementing IT solutions.
* Experience in identifying vulnerabilities, mitigating risks, and implementing comprehensive risk management solutions, including a control testing framework.
* Strong knowledge of Cyber Security practices, frameworks and IT risk management methodologies.
* Proven track record in managing IT and Cyber Security risks and the capability to develop and maintain IT risk frameworks and policies in alignment with business objectives.
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively across various departments and with senior stakeholders.
Preferred
* Knowledge of industry-standard IT and Cyber Security practices and regulatory requirements relevant to the financial sector or other heavily regulated industries.
* Familiarity with emerging IT trends and technologies, and how they can impact risk posture.
* Experience with advanced IT, Cyber Security technologies and Cloud security practices.
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Risk Management, or a related field, or equivalent level of experience.
* Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, or CISSP.
How we work

We will be supportive and flexible to your circumstances, so for roles that offer a hybrid option we ask colleagues to attend their base location a minimum of 3 days a week so they can connect, collaborate and learn together. The other 2 days can be worked either from home or another bank location.
