Join Our Team as a Frontline Manager!
Are you an experienced Team Leader or Senior Support Worker with a commitment to supporting people with learning disabilities? If you’re looking to make a meaningful impact in a values-driven organization, we want to hear from you! You will join our leadership training programme and receive structured training in all aspects of your new role. You will also receive support in your role from a locally based mentor.
In this frontline management role, you’ll lead a dedicated and experienced team, providing support to 10 people across 4 houses in Shrewsbury. Your leadership will inspire and guide your team, ensuring they have the training and resources needed to deliver innovative, person-centred care.
Your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day operations such as overseeing rotas, conducting risk assessments, and developing support plans. You’ll also handle budget management and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and internal processes.
Building strong relationships is key. You’ll collaborate with external professionals, social work teams, families, and the local community, creating a network of support for the people we serve.
As part of a collaborative local management team, you’ll share ideas and insights, fostering an environment of growth and support for everyone involved.
About you:
* You are experienced: You should have a solid background in supporting people with autism and learning disabilities, ideally in a Supported Living environment. Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is essential.
* You are creative: Your ability to think creatively and motivate both staff and the people we support is crucial.
* You are organised: Strong budgeting knowledge and IT proficiency are important for managing various responsibilities effectively.
* You can travel: A valid driver’s license and access to your own transport are necessary, as travel between services and to meetings is a regular part of the role.

Training and Development
