Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, a deep understanding of the UK market, and a passion for driving business growth. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with clients, and lead initiatives that enhance our service offerings. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and expand Ecolution's market presence in the UK. Determine which industries to focus on and the types of clients to target. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential partnerships, new markets, and innovative solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Demonstrate strong competency in closing deals. Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and warehouse, to ensure seamless service delivery. Lead and manage business development projects from conception through to execution. Lead and manage a small team of 3-5 people, maximizing the utilization of each team member’s experience and expertise to conquer new clients in different industries. Cultivate a collaborative team spirit. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks. Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, preferably within the UK market. Background in servicing SME businesses and experience in helping companies with new market entry is advantageous. Strong understanding and proven experience in as many of the following areas as possible: warehousing, logistics, e-commerce marketing, e-commerce sales, and B2B sales channel development. Proven ability to develop and execute successful business development strategies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Experience in leading a small but diverse team. Competency in a foreign language, such as Chinese, would be advantageous but not essential.
