Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, West Midlands Council, Adults Safeguarding Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team.
The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager.
Responsibilities include:
1. Newly created Safeguarding Team
2. This is a fast-paced, citywide team
3. Work involves dealing with all aspects of Safeguarding work from the Concern stage
4. Work is currently from home due to Covid-19 restrictions, although visits may be required, subject to risk assessments
5. You will receive training on their Covid-19 risk assessment
6. Have excellent organisational skills and proven ability to work autonomously
7. Liaise with other professionals
8. 36 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
9. 2 Month Temporary Contract
10. Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent, must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS, and be a car driver.
