Main duties of the job
As a Bank Healthcare Assistant, you will join a team that works together to provide care and support for people with Learning Disabilities and Autism at the Ann House facility in Kendal. Your duties will involve utilizing your experience to help the service users lead valued and fulfilled lives, even in challenging environments. A positive attitude, compassion, resilience, and vigilance are essential in this role. You will have the freedom to choose the shifts you want to work each week, with 24/7 operations and 12.5-hour standard shifts available.

There is no minimum number of hours that you need to work, although it is recommended to work as often as you can to ensure your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service is retained.
Weekdays, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available, which are easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps you’ll have the shifts at Ann House secured that you want.

The service operates 24/7 with 12.5 hour standard shifts. As a Healthcare Assistant on our bank you’ll be on a zero hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose which shifts you want to work each week.
