Working Hours: Thisis a part-time role, offering flexibility within, 30 hours per week, witha requirement to work on Wednesdays. Were open to discussing a variety of workpatterns to suit the right candidate.

Main duties of the job
As the Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in thesmooth running of the PCN by managing a variety of operational andadministrative tasks. This includes organising meetings, preparing agendas, andtaking minutes, as well as creating and maintaining staff rotas. You willcoordinate inductions for new team members, file and maintain essentialrecords, and update PCN policies. Additionally, you will conduct regularaudits, generate reports, and provide ad hoc support by serving as the primarycontact for handling and resolving day-to-day operational and administrativequeries within the team.

As the PCN Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the operational and administrative functions of the Primary Care Network, working across Leeds Student Medical Practice and The Light Surgery. You will provide essential support to the PCN Project Manager and leadership team, helping to coordinate meetings, manage staff rotas, handle queries, and ensure efficient communication between member practices. Your responsibilities will include preparing agendas and minutes for PCN meetings, managing PCN documentation and assets, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and organising staff events. You will also assist with the development of key projects, reporting, and compliance activities, contributing to continuous improvements across the network.
In addition, you will be the first point of contact for operational and administrative issues, troubleshooting day-to-day queries for the team. You will assist with data management, running reports using clinical systems such as EMIS and SystmOne, and presenting findings to the board. Your role will also involve supporting HR tasks, such as maintaining staff records, managing training and development, and assisting with staff recruitment and inductions. This is an office-based role requiring on-site work at both Leeds practices, and the ideal candidate will be highly organised, with strong IT skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
