To assist the trained theatre team in delivering quality, safe care to patients during the perioperative period.
Act as a circulating member of the theatre team.
Assist scrub personnel in the setting up of a theatre list.
Ensure patient care and comfort during the perioperative phase of care.
Assist in the procedure to ensure all instrumentation and consumables for each patient case is available.
Ensure patient safety and infection prevention by cleaning, disposing of waste correctly and meeting required standards pre and post operatively.
