This role involves performing a range of haematology and blood transfusion tests, ensuring accurate and timely results to support patient diagnosis and treatment. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining high standards of laboratory practice and patient care. What will your responsibilities be : The Band 6 Biomedical Scientist will be responsible for conducting haematology and blood transfusion tests, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. This role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support. The successful candidate will be expected to stay current with advancements in haematology and blood transfusion practices and participate in ongoing professional development. Qualifications and Experiences: Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent HCPC registration Minimum of 2 years' experience in haematology and blood transfusion Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to maintaining high standards of laboratory practice and patient care How to apply?
