Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 5 nurses to join our ward-based team at Ormskirk District General Hospital. This ward will now include the post-operative care of Orthopaedic, Elective and Emergency Surgical patients transferred from Southport District General Hospital, as part of their recovery pathway.
The successful applicants will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and clinical skills within the clinical setting with the support of our dedicated nursing team in Planned Care at Ormskirk. Whether you are an experienced nurse looking for a new challenge or a newly qualified nurse at the beginning of your career pathway, we have the role for you.
This opportunity on the Ormskirk site will enhance your professional development through evidence-based practice alongside offering a programme of support in your induction and ongoing training. There is also the opportunity to work on our elective orthopaedic ward.
