Deputy Manager
Your role would be to support the aims and objectives of the nursery and assist the manager in the organisation of a high quality establishment for children from birth to 12 years to cover maternity leave for 9 months with possible permanent position at the end. You will work under the direction of the Manager and deputise for her/him as and when required.
You must be capable of leading a team of professional workers and ensure good practice at all times. You will assist with the planning and organisation of staffing schedules and holiday rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained in accordance with Local Authority guidelines and nursery procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.42 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday
Minimum Requirements:
* Hold a Level 2 or 3 in CACHE Diploma, NNEB, NVQ or Early Years workforce
* Due to the nature of this role, the successful applicant must be able to undertake and provide a clear enhanced DBS check and provide references satisfactory to Children 1st.
* Happy to provide a copy of Childcare certificate to be checked by our training department.

* Driving Licence (preferred)
* Paediatric First Aid Certification (required)
* United Kingdom work authorisation (required)
