The role:
As a Facilities Assistant, you’ll provide facilities operational support to the Babcock vehicle engineering site. Day-to-day, you’ll work as part of the maintenance department and participate in the delivery of a wide range of activities within their remit.
* Clean workshops and maintain tools and equipment
* Facilities tasks to include – visual inspections of fire extinguishers and fire alarm testing
* Complete minor faults using tools such as a screwdriver and drill
* Grounds maintenance activity
This position involves manual work, including lifting, bending, using tools, or standing for extended periods of time.
Essential experience of the Facilities Assistant:
* Ability to use drill and screwdriver handtools
* Previous experience as an industrial cleaner or facilities assistant would be advantageous
Qualifications for the Facilities Assistant:

Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) and NVVP security clearance for this role.
