Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Gillingham to recruit a Maths Teacher. The Maths department is extremely well-run with a large, supportive team. Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver a broad, balanced, and engaging maths curriculum.
* Monitor and support the progress and development of students as both a teacher and form tutor.
* Create a positive learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.
* Contribute to raising standards of student attainment and engagement.
* Support the school’s mission to provide a nurturing environment for personal and academic growth.
* Serve as a form tutor, supporting the well-being and personal growth of students.
* Participate in evaluating and improving teaching practices and departmental performance.
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant degree in Maths.
* Have successful teaching experience at the secondary level.
* Be familiar with National Curriculum requirements at KS3 and KS4.
* Demonstrate strong ICT skills and experience with interactive whiteboards or similar tools.
* Exhibit excellent time management, communication, and organisational skills.
* Possess the ability to foster a motivating and safe learning environment.
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate (or be willing to obtain)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
