At Saint-Gobain Performance Ceramics & Refractories, we are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our Waste to Energy and Foundry team to help us grow in our market base. You'll be helping us do this by identifying and proactively engaging with new and existing customers across our customer base in the UK.
Performance Ceramics & Refractories leads in providing our customers with high-performing products across performance ceramic solutions as well as innovative refractory solutions.
This is a varied field-based role, which will cover the majority of the UK - candidates must therefore possess a full UK driving license.
What we're looking for:
1. An ability and understanding to make technical recommendations to our customer base with our products/applications across the PCR range.
2. Competent sales and relationship skills, with an ability to build and forge relationships across all key stakeholders.
3. An ability to travel to customer sites and take proactive steps to meet customers face-to-face.
4. A recent graduate in material science, or 1-2 years of technical sales experience in a similar field to refractories or industrial ceramics.
What you will be doing:
1. Selling our solutions across PCR, leveraging our technical superiority and securing sales for products and services including ceramics, waste to energy, foundry, WRT, filtration, etc.
2. Developing new business and sales from an existing & new customer base by proactively meeting clients, creating touch-points, and providing technical expertise on our products.
3. Being present on site and supervising installations.
4. Providing technical support in each market to our customer base.
