RAC who are the UKs leading breakdown provider – a people powered business of over 4000 Orange heroes, have an amazing opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join us on a 6mth FTC. The HR Business Partner plays a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment through effective employee engagement, talent development, and organisational change initiatives.
Reporting into the Senior HR Business Partner you will be collaborating with colleagues to provide dedicated HR expertise, guidance, and support to people managers and leaders, facilitating effective talent management, organisational design and change initiatives to drive RAC’s success.
This role is hybrid working 2 days a week from the office and 3 days working from home
What you will do
1. Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and ensuring a positive work environment and culture where employees feel valued and motivated.
2. Identify and nurture talent within the organisation, facilitate development conversations, and create career growth pathways to retain talent.
3. Lead and support organisational design and change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to employees.
4. Guide managers in effectively managing employee performance, setting clear expectations, and providing regular feedback to enhance productivity and development.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with employees and managers, address concerns, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
6. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that support overall business objectives and drive organisational success.
What you will need
The successful candidate will have experience in a generalist HR role, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices with the ability to develop credibility with stakeholders and groups.
You will be able to demonstrate experience of managing projects and delivering them to plan ideally within a large, complex organisation. You will be experienced in preparing consultation documents and ensure clear timetables whilst achieving KPIs across the HR division.
