Job summary We are seeking to increase our team of motivated bank midwives at ASPH. Being a member of the staff bank allows you to be part of our valued team, but also gives you flexibility around your other commitments with attractive rates of payment. Within ASPH we have a range of services. We provide a homebirth service, have an alongside birthing centre, a level 3 Neonatal Unit and high risk maternal and fetal medicine service. Working as a bank ASPH midwife will give you the opportunity to be skilled in all areas of midwifery. An MDT approach is always used within these services, and we work extremely closely with our NICU team to provide the best outcome for babies that require their care. Successful candidates will receive a full orientation programme supported by the clinical education team. Competence in skills such as high and low risk care, suturing, epidural management, water birth and IV drugs administration is required.
