Main duties of the job Provide OT assessment, treatment, review and evaluation for children on the ward, in out-patient settings and in the child's own home/school. To work in partnership with other health professionals, parents, carers, education and other service providers to ensure a child centred approach to therapy To carry and be responsible for a varied clinical caseload, to organize this caseload effectively and efficiently with regard to clinical priorities and time. To provide cover to other areas of service as necessary to support other members of the team. Occasional weekend working may be required. To support the senior therapists with service development, take an active role in Governance and to provide supervision and support to junior staff and students.
